The successful candidate will be enthusiastic with an eye for detail. They must be able to work alone using their initiative, be flexible and a good team player as well as being organised and able to deal with clients confidently on site.
The Role of The Digital Print Operator will operate an array of machinery such as , Durst, HP Latex, MTEX, CNC and Zund cutters.
The role will also involve pre-press stages - setting files up for print and amending using software such as Adobe Creative Suite - Illustrator & InDesign. Must have experiences using the above.
Knowledge, skills and qualifications:
- A strong background as an experienced large format digital printer, ideally of operating a Durst or HP latex printers
- Also some finishing experience needed - Ideal experience of operating a Zund cutter.
- Knowledge of large format digital printing processes.
- Competent with amending files using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
- Good organisational skills and proven leader.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility for working hours, working overtime at short notice if needed.
