About the Role:
At Ebits Global Business and Technology Services, accurate inventory management is essential to keeping our logistics and supply chain operations efficient and reliable. We are looking for an Inventory Controller who can maintain accurate stock records, investigate discrepancies, and support the smooth movement of goods across warehouse and distribution activities.
You will work closely with warehouse teams, procurement, logistics, finance, and customer service departments to ensure inventory information remains accurate and up to date. You will also support stock counts, monitor inventory levels, and identify opportunities to improve stock control procedures.
This role is suitable for an experienced inventory, warehouse, or logistics professional who is organised, analytical, and confident working with stock management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records across warehouse management and business systems.
Stock Counts:
Plan and complete cycle counts, scheduled stock takes, and inventory audits.
Discrepancy Investigation:
Investigate stock differences, damaged goods, missing items, and incorrect system records.
Goods Movement Monitoring:
Track the movement of stock through receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch processes.
System Updates:
Ensure inventory transactions, adjustments, transfers, and returns are recorded accurately and promptly.
Stock Level Monitoring:
Review stock availability, identify shortages or excess inventory, and communicate concerns to relevant departments.
Reporting:
Prepare regular inventory reports covering stock accuracy, discrepancies, damaged goods, slow moving items, and adjustment activity.
Warehouse Coordination:
Work with warehouse operatives and team leaders to improve stock handling, storage accuracy, and location control.
Supplier and Delivery Checks:
Support the checking of incoming deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes, and system records.
Process Improvement:
Identify recurring inventory issues and recommend practical improvements to stock control procedures.
Compliance:
Ensure inventory activities follow company procedures, audit requirements, health and safety standards, and operational controls.
Cross Department Collaboration:
Work closely with procurement, finance, logistics, customer service, and warehouse teams to resolve inventory related issues.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, warehousing, logistics, supply chain, or a similar operational role.
Inventory Systems:
Experience using warehouse management systems, inventory software, barcode scanners, or enterprise resource planning systems.
Analytical Skills:
Able to review stock data, identify patterns, investigate discrepancies, and produce accurate reports.
Organisation:
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage stock counts, reports, investigations, and daily priorities.
Attention to Detail:
A careful and accurate approach to inventory records, stock movements, system transactions, and documentation.
Problem Solving:
Able to identify the cause of stock issues and implement practical corrective actions.
Communication:
Clear and professional communication skills when working with warehouse teams, managers, suppliers, and other departments.
Teamwork:
A dependable and cooperative professional who can work effectively across different operational teams.
Time Management:
Able to prioritise competing tasks and complete stock control activities within required deadlines.

Pay: £2,400.00-£2,600.00 per month
