Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse and Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing warehouse operations while providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth daily functions. Your energy and organizational skills will help us maintain efficient stock management, shipping, receiving, and office workflows. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop versatile skills in a fast-paced environment, supporting both logistics and administrative tasks with enthusiasm and precision.

Responsibilities

Assist with the loading and unloading of shipments using materials handling equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Manage inventory through the warehouse management system (WMS), accurately tracking stock levels, locations, and movements
Perform stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving duties to fulfill customer orders efficiently
Operate mechanical tools safely to load, unload, and organize materials within the warehouse
Support warehouse organization by maintaining cleanliness, labeling inventory clearly, and conducting regular stock audits
Collaborate with team members on warehouse management tasks such as load balancing and space optimization
Provide administrative support by managing documentation related to shipments, inventory records, and general office duties

Qualifications

Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or similar setting is preferred
Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Mechanical knowledge or construction experience is a plus for understanding equipment operation and maintenance
Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, picking & packing, shipping & receiving processes
Ability to perform physical tasks including load & unload activities for extended periods
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively within teams and document activities accurately
