Sol Komfort Interiors is an established company that specialises in the manufacture and installation of blind and curtain track systems. We are a team that take pride in the work we carry out and are committed to ensuring total satisfaction.
Although blind and track systems is our bread and butter work, we also supply and install a variety of products within this field, we work with architects & contractors on commercial projects across the UK; schools, offices, hospitals, student accommodation and leisure facilities are amongst our most frequent projects.
Bookkeeper & Office Administrator
We are looking for an organised, reliable and proactive Bookkeeper & Office Administrator to join our team at Sol Komfort Interiors.
This is a varied office-based role, with bookkeeping and invoicing forming the main part of the position, alongside general company administration, HR duties, compliance, Health & Safety and day-to-day support for the Manager.
Key Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the role will include:
- Day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero
- Raising and issuing customer invoices
- Processing and recording supplier invoices
- General HR administration and maintaining employee records
- General company and office administration
- Assisting the Manager with day-to-day tasks and business administration
- Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with enquiries
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and other contacts
- Managing company compliance requirements and ensuring relevant records and documentation are kept up to date
- Assisting with and overseeing Health & Safety administration and compliance
- Keeping company records, paperwork and systems organised and up to date
Please note: This role does not require you to complete VAT returns, payroll or bank reconciliations.
Additional Experience
While the above forms the core of the position, we would be very interested to hear from candidates with broader bookkeeping, accounting or financial experience.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Confident using Xero
- Experienced in bookkeeping and invoicing
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and managing their own workload
- Confident communicating over the telephone and by email
- Reliable, approachable and professional
- Comfortable working across a variety of administrative responsibilities
Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounts, office administration, HR, compliance or Health & Safety would be advantageous.
This is a varied position and would suit someone who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day running of a business, rather than focusing solely on accounts.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: £26,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
