Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Pump Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating concrete pumps on various construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of concrete. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, commercial driving experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with other construction professionals.
Duties
- Operate concrete pumps and pour concrete at construction sites.
- Perform pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate pumping and site logistics.
- Maintain equipment by conducting regular inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while on-site to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in training new operators or team members on equipment operation and safety practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Concrete Pump Operator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential overtime during peak construction periods.
