Due to a promotion, we are currently seeking an experienced coded Welder to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will be a part of a team of Welders, delivering high-quality steel structures across a variety of projects throughout Scotland.
We’re looking for a fully qualified and experienced coded Welder with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Fabricating and Welding Components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
- Accurately measuring and setting, working to close tolerances.
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Working efficiently to meet deadlines.
- MIG welding to a high standard, free from defects and weld splatter.
- Checking all work and completing Quality Assurance records.
- Moving steelwork around workshop using overhead cranes
- Keeping equipment in good working order - daily inspecting of all plant and equipment and reporting any defects to company management.
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy, general good housekeeping.
- Working in a safe manner - complying with all company policy and Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Any other duties as required (drilling holes, painting steel).
