About Us

The Lounge at Grace & Grey is a relaxed bistro in the heart of Poulton-le-Fylde, serving beautifully presented small plates, pizzas and sharing boards in a calm, welcoming space.

We focus on quality ingredients, thoughtful presentation and creating food that feels simple, seasonal and well executed.

As we continue to evolve our evening offering, we’re looking for a confident chef who enjoys both running service and contributing ideas to the menu.

The Role

This is a hands-on role in a small, well-organised kitchen, working closely with the owner to deliver and develop our evening food offering.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing and delivering our small plates, sharing boards and pizzas
Running evening service in a calm and organised way
Supporting the development and refinement of the menu
Managing prep and stock levels
Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards
Supporting occasional events and private hire menus

This role would suit someone who enjoys elevating simple dishes and contributing ideas, rather than just following a fixed spec.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

Calm under pressure during service
Organised and efficient with prep
Passionate about good food and presentation
Reliable and comfortable working independently
Happy working in a small, supportive team
Interested in refining dishes and contributing ideas to the menu

Experience in a similar café, small plates or bistro kitchen would be ideal, although attitude and work ethic matter just as much.

Reliability and pride in your work are just as important to us as experience.
