Bold Security are now recruiting for Security Officers for an exciting vacancy in the whole Crewkerne area.

Duties involved (not an exhaustive list):

Patrol the store to prevent theft and keep people safe
Watch for suspicious behaviour and act quickly when needed
Deal with shoplifting and incidents calmly and professionally
Provide a visible presence to deter crime
Work with store staff and management to maintain security
Write clear reports of any incidents
Retail security
Offer basic customer support when needed

Duties will increase as the role progresses.

Essential Criteria:

Valid SIA Licence
Strong communication skills
Smart appearance - black safety shoes, black trousers, blazer, security Hi-Viz.
Experience in retail security

For meaningful checks to be carried out, individuals need to have lived in the UK for a sufficient period to enable appropriate checks to be carried out and produce a result which provides the required level of assurance. Security clearance is desirable for the role however this can be applied for upon successful interview procedure. You need to have been a resident in the United Kingdom for the 5 years for SC clearance. People working with government assets must complete basic personnel security standard checks.
