As our business continues to expand, we are looking for a skilled Repair Technician to become part of our growing team.
About the Position
As a Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing faults and repairing a wide range of devices while ensuring every customer receives an outstanding service experience. Working alongside the Store Manager and Front of House team, you'll complete repairs accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
You'll be trusted to repair devices ranging from smartphones and tablets to laptops and other connected technology, while keeping colleagues informed so customers receive clear updates throughout the repair journey.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and is comfortable working in a busy retail environment. We are also looking for someone who is confident discussing our network airtime, insurance, and warranty products with customers when appropriate.

Main Responsibilities
- Diagnose hardware and software faults across smartphones, tablets, laptops, MacBooks, and IoT devices.
- Perform high-quality repairs including screen replacements, battery replacements, charging port repairs, camera repairs, and component replacements.
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining excellent workmanship and attention to detail.
- Assist customers professionally and provide technical advice where appropriate.
- Work closely with the Front of House team to ensure customers receive accurate progress updates.
- Keep the repair workspace clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety procedures.
- Follow company repair processes and quality control standards.
- Support store performance by promoting repair services, mobile network airtime, insurance, and warranty products.
- Assist the Store Manager with daily technical operations and contribute to achieving store targets.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of the wider team.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone with:
- At least Two year's experience repairing electronic devices.
- Proven experience working on Apple and Samsung smartphones.
- Experience repairing iPads, laptops, and MacBooks.
- Level 2 repair skills (essential).
- Level 3 board-level repair experience (preferred).
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and care when handling customer devices.
- A positive attitude with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to perform well in a fast-moving retail environment.
- A genuine enthusiasm for consumer technology and device repairs.
- Previous experience selling mobile network airtime, insurance, or warranty products would be an advantage.

Salary: £27,000–£30,000 per year (plus commission)
