Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Self Employed Plasterer to undertake a variety of plastering projects on a self-employed basis. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in plastering. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial sites. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishes, adhering to safety standards.
Duties
- Applying plaster to interior and exterior walls, ceilings, and other surfaces with precision and attention to detail
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming prior to plaster application
- Mixing plaster and other materials using hand tools and power tools to achieve the correct consistency
- Repairing damaged or uneven surfaces by patching or re-skimming as required
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant building regulations and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean work environment and disposing of waste responsibly
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a plasterer with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Proficiency in using hand tools (trowels, hawks) and power tools (mixers, drills) safely and effectively
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects independently
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship standards
- Valid UK driving licence preferred for transportation between sites
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously under minimal supervision

Pay: £165.00-£190.00 per day
