As part of this transformation, NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) and NHS Education for Scotland (NES) have joined to form a new organisation: Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland). This new organisation will play a pivotal role in supporting the renewal and ensuring the long-term sustainability of health and care services across Scotland.

Who We Are
PSD Scotland unites expertise from NES and NSS in a way that will allow us to accelerate national programmes to support the NHS to deliver better care, now and in the future.
We support staff with education and training, provide the tools and data that improve services, and run vital national functions such as procurement, logistics and blood, tissue and cell services.
The Dental Directorate is responsible for the delivery of high-quality education and training across a diverse range of training programmes, including the management, funding and provision of postgraduate education for dentists and dental care professionals (DCPs).
Within the Dental Directorate there are a number of workstreams. This post will support these workstreams whilst they deliver teaching in our Clinical Skills Rooms. The Clinical Skills Room is a training facility designed to bridge the gap between theory and real patient treatment with Phantom Head Simulators, using the same clinical equipment and materials used in Practice.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to be part of our talented and highly versatile team, based at the Edinburgh Dental Education Centre.
We are looking for an Admin Assistant Events & Facilities to join our business support team in Edinburgh to primarily support the delivery of teaching within our clinical skills room, which will include the set up of materials and instruments as requested by course organisers, along with any other on-site activities which will require the post holder to be on site whenever there is activity on EDEC. This could be up to 5 days a week.
