You will be working in the Building Services team based in Midlothian Schools, Scotland. As the Facilities Assistant you will:

Undertaking minor maintenance work such as lamp changing
Assisting with all aspects of the upkeep of the grounds, roadways and car
parks, litter picking
Fire & Emergency system testing
Carrying out repairs to fixtures and fittings
Water Testing

We are looking for:

Experience of working within a school environment
Experience of working within a maintenance environment
Proven experience of working in a busy and demanding customer focused environment
Demonstrable maintenance skills such as home maintenance, etc
Ability to use office computer systems including e-mail, spreadsheets, and databases.
