Full job description

Supervisor

The Brass Pig is a Bristol-based, family-owned bar group that has been serving the community for over 50 years. We are looking for a reliable Bar Supervisor to provide an excellent guest experience and train staff. Good Supervisor will be able to create memorable experiences for customers while maintaining a clean and orderly bar.

Responsibilities

Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
Interact with customers and take orders while bar training is ongoing
Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails (full training provided)
Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Training new staff
Over seeing staff and delegating jobs to other staff

Skills

Proven working experience as a supervisor or at least 2 years experience as Bar Staff
Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
Computer literacy
Knowledge of a second language is a plus but not required
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
Ability to lead a team of 10+ people

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £13.50 per hour
