Full job description

JOB TITLE – Kitchen Steward
DEPARTMENT – Culinary
CONTRACT TYPE - Permanent
RATE OF PAY – £12.72 per hour, plus excellent company benefits
HOURS – 37.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7
LOCATION – St Brides SA69 9NH

OVERVIEW -
Join the ‘Greatest story in Hospitality’ by becoming one of our Kitchen Steward ‘Hospitality Heroes’ in our St Brides Spa Hotel - just one of the fantastic opportunities we offer from ‘Manor to Marina’.

OUR IDEAL HERO WILL HAVE -
Kitchen experience
The ability to learn quickly and work at a fast pace
Food hygiene level 2

IMPLEMENTING OUR ‘YES YOU CAN’ PHILOSOPHY, YOU WILL -
Operate all dishwashing equipment safely and according to the correct procedures
Clean all garbage from the kitchens and staff cafeteria, as required
Ensure all used stoves, grills and bain-marie are clean, using the correct chemicals and cleaning equipment
Make sure that all food outlets have an adequate supply of clean operating equipment at all times
Make sure that chefs have a continuous supply of clean pans for cooking
