This advert includes two Assistant Accountant (Research) vacancies: one full-time (1.0 FTE), and the other part-time (0.5 FTE).
You will assist the Management Accountant (Research) in providing dedicated support for all Warwick Business School academics with regard to the financial planning and control of all School Research Activity.
You will be based in the WBS Finance Office assisting the Management Accountant (Research) in providing comprehensive advice and support for the costing of all School research bids ensuring that these comply with both the funder requirements as well as University Regulations.
You will assist the Management Accountant (Research) with the budget monitoring and financial analysis of all research awards as well as ongoing liaison with the academics concerning the financial position of their awards.

About You
You will need relevant, applied experience of preparing management accounting information and either AAT/ or equivalent accountancy qualification/experience.
You must have a good understanding of computerised financial systems and of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, together with minimum GCSE level qualifications or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
