Maymax Engineering has a CNC machine shop mainly supporting the Automotive & Medical Industry, as well as locally run businesses.
We are currently looking to expand our workforce of highly skilled machinists to keep up with the demands of our customers, new and old.
We have an established CNC machine shop which produces an array of high-quality components, jig, fixtures and special purpose machines required for development of new products or recurring batch orders.
Therefore, we would like to recruit another one or two permanent, full time CNC Machinists / Toolmakers / Turners / Programmers / Operators to become part of our team.
Key Responsibilities / Skills:
Experience of 3 years / time served in programming Cad Cam, setting and machining both singular or batch parts and assemblies using CNC and conventional machines & EDM machines.
Ideally experienced in one or more of the following;
CNC Milling
CNC Turning
Wire Erosion Machines
Seimens & XYZ Proturn
Fusion 360
Ability to work with all materials.
Have good accuracy with tolerances, drawings and specification.
The applicant must be:
Reliable, Punctual, Self-motivated with good organisational skills
Good Housekeeping and have the ability to work to a good health & safety practice at all times
Able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
Have a good approach and outlook to achieving high quality items
Working hours:
Monday – Thursday 7.00am – 3.30pm
Friday 7.00am – 1.00pm
Option for overtime each week

Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
