Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our clients premises.

The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a professional demeanour, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and proactive security measures are paramount.

Responsibilities

Monitor premises through surveillance systems such as CCTV to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
Conduct regular patrols of the property to maintain safety and prevent unauthorised access.
Enforce loss prevention protocols by observing and deterring theft or vandalism.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including administering first aid if necessary.
Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Control access points.
Ensure all security equipment is functioning correctly and report any faults or issues immediately.

Experience

Proven experience in a security role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Familiarity with surveillance technology such as CCTV systems is advantageous.
Strong observational skills with an eye for detail and suspicious activity detection.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional attitude at all times. This position requires a responsible individual committed to maintaining a safe environment through vigilant monitoring and prompt action. Candidates should be organised, alert, and capable of handling challenging situations with composure.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
