We are seeking a skilled Plater/Welder to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively during assembly and fabrication tasks.
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts with precision, adhering to project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, following health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in the setup of fabrication equipment and perform routine maintenance as required.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Experience
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication processes related to sheet metal work.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to assembly, material handling, and basic maintenance tasks.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks.
