Full job description

We are seeking an experienced part time baker to join our team and provide afternoon and early evening cover, including holiday relief for our existing bakery team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced baker who wants part-time hours and enjoys working in a busy traditional bakery.

Due to the nature of the business, flexibility to work shifts across a 7 day working week is required.

Previous experience as a Bread Baker required. Ultimately, you will be responsible for the production of fresh artisan breads and rolls.

Requirements

Previous experience baking bread
Able to hand mould
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and food safety
Must be able to follow recipes, procedures and production requirements
Excellent time-management skills
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
Follow instruction and work as part of a small team
Good attention to detail

Terms:

Salary: to be agreed & is dependent upon age and experience
As needed to suit the business needs, you will be required to work irregular hours including weekends and bank holiday. During peak periods such as Christmas, sales and other seasonal holidays, you may be required to work additional hours to support the business, these will be agreed in advance with your line manager.
Holidays: 28 days inclusive of bank holidays pro rata to your working hours
Pension - as per auto enrolment requirements

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
