Full job description

Nursery: Little Faces, Pontlands Park, West Hanningfield Rd, Great Baddow, Chelmsford CM2 8HR

Hours: Part Time, Monday - Friday - 3pm to 6pm

Salary: Up to £13.13 per hour (depends on qualification and experience)

About you

Your enthusiasm and compassion ensure that those you support, feel cared for and proud of the environment they work in.

What you'll be doing
As a Housekeeper/Cleaner, you will maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the nursery setting. Following the cleaning schedule, you will ensure all areas are kept clean, tidy, safe and well cared for. Your role will involve managing cleaning materials and supplies, in line with health and safety guidelines, following the latest child protection and health and safety legislation.

You will work closely with the educator team to ensure any issues impacting daily operations are reported and dealt with quickly, effectively and safely.

What you'll need

Experience in a similar role
Enthusiasm and high standards of cleanliness
An excellent understanding of basic hygiene and cleanliness
Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH
Understands the importance of safeguarding and site security
