Location: New Alresford, Hampshire, SO24

Hours: Bank hours available. Typical shifts are: 8am-6pm and 6pm-8am of which 11pm-7am is a sleeping night shift.

Pay:

Pay Rate 1: £13.23 per hour, Monday to Friday days and Waking nights
Pay Rate 2: £15.44 per hour, Weekend days
Pay Rate 3: £17.64 per hour, Bank Holidays
Pay Rate 4: £National Living Wage Weekday sleeping nights
Pay Rate 5: £National Living Wage + £1 Weekend sleeping nights and away with client rate
£31.20 on call per shift

Hi, I’m Tristan!

I was born in 2000 and live with complex physical, psychological, and communication needs due to an injury at birth. But that’s just one part of my story - I’m fun-loving, sociable, and I love getting outdoors, shopping, attending day services, and having a good laugh with my support team. Keeping things upbeat, engaging and active are really important to me. We have a dog, that likes to bark but is very friendly.

I live in an adapted annexe off of my parent's house, it is a rural area so being a car driver is essential. I use a wheelchair and am gastrostomy fed, so confidence in these areas is essential. I rely on my carers and parents for all of my daily needs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Supporting young adults with neuro disabilities
To provide safe, effective care and support to me in my home and out in the community
To ensure that care given by the team is of high quality, safe and effective
Calm, proactive and can bring a sense of fun to my day
To follow a 24-hour posture management programme
To manage my medication and feeding regime
To ensure that my equipment/immediate home environment is kept tidy, organised, and in good order
