Job Overview
We are seeking a positive and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education. This role involves working closely with children aged 9 months - 2 years old. Must have some experience in working with children.

Responsibilities

Provide a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children in the nursery setting.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
Manage daily routines and ensure that children's needs are met throughout the day.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents as necessary.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a high standard of care and education within the nursery.
Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with nursery policies and regulations.

Skills

Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and adults alike.
Leadership qualities to guide and support other staff members in delivering quality childcare.
A drive for continuous improvement in early childhood education practices.
Experience working in a nursery or similar childcare setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to facilitate clear communication with parents and colleagues.
A genuine love for working with children and supporting their development through play-based learning activities.
