Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile Handyman/Woman person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible ( along with the team ) for maintaining and repairing a variety of facilities and equipment, ensuring smooth daily operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with broad experience and a proactive approach to varied maintenance tasks. The position requires a dedicated person capable of handling diverse responsibilities, from simple electrical work to mechanical repairs, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, and building infrastructure
Assist the Maintenance manager with completion of outstanding jobs from the across the site
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and organisational policies
Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally
Weekend work required ( will usually be Saturday plus a day Monday to Friday )

Experience

Proven experience in maintenance or handyman roles within industrial or commercial environments
Basic electrical experience
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic carpentry or plumbing repairs
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Customer service orientation with the ability to respond effectively to client needs
Previous experience in maintaining equipment or facilities is highly desirable

This role offers an engaging environment for a proactive person eager to utilise their skills assisting the Maintenance Manager while delivering exceptional maintenance .

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
