Location: Newbury + Hybrid
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

What you’ll do

You’ll step into a career-defining opportunity where you’ll help shape the financial backbone of the UK’s largest mobile network provider. In this role, you’ll drive working capital performance across complex financial areas, turning data into impactful insights and influencing decisions that strengthen cash flow, efficiency, and long-term value. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, playing a key role in building a high-performing, future-ready organisation.

You’ll lead the month-end close process across Debt Sale, IFRS16, and TowerCo, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
You’ll take ownership of forecasting, developing deep insights into financial drivers and supporting rolling forecasts
You’ll analyse performance, identify trends, and deliver clear variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
You’ll proactively monitor risks and escalate issues to ensure delivery against working capital targets
You’ll build strong relationships with stakeholders across Commercial and Finance, acting as a trusted advisor
You’ll influence and guide business partners to drive ownership of working capital initiatives and outcomes
You’ll identify and implement initiatives that improve cash flow and optimise working capital
You’ll collaborate across teams to streamline processes and deliver efficiency improvements
You’ll develop and maintain robust financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools
You’ll present clear, actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership

Who you are

You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
You’ll bring strong expertise in financial modelling, scenario analysis, and complex data interpretation
You’ll have advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or HFM
You’ll be confident in stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and drive change across teams
You’ll have excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
You’ll communicate clearly and confidently, translating complex data into meaningful insights
You’ll thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoy working across diverse teams
You’ll be proactive, curious, and motivated to continuously improve processes and outcomes
You’ll be comfortable navigating complexity while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
You’ll be passionate about contributing to a culture that values innovation, inclusion, and excellence
