Your hours:
Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pm with 30-minute lunch and two breaks.
Ability to work flexible hours when required is essential.
About the role
As one of our paint spraying assistants, you will undertake paintwork preparation on a wide variety of our on-site manufactured products in both mild and stainless steel.
To be the right fit for this role, you should be familiar with surface prepping equipment such as hand sanders, grinders etc. You will also have a keen eye for detail and be capable of working to a high standard.
Additional training for paint prepping will be available to keen individuals who have no prepping experience but are enthusiastic to learn new skills.
Day-to-day duties & responsibilities
- Working as part of our paint shop team, follow and understand relevant instructions, and achieve the relevant work quality/quantity requirements
- Prepare, clean and mask off prior to paint application by the spray painters.
- Some shot blasting work will be required.
- Clean and maintain all equipment and Personal Protective Equipment as required.
- Undertake daily housekeeping duties as instructed.
- Maintain the daily Health & Safety requirements of the company.
Preferred Skills
Ability to listen and understand instructions, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Health and Safety awareness within a workshop environment.
Ability to work flexible work patterns and welcomes overtime
Own transport will be required
IPAF and FLT experience will be advantageous
