Estate Technician

Cramlington

£26,503 - £27,898 per year

40 hours per week

8am - 4.30pm - Monday - Friday

We are looking for an Estate Technician to join our Voids team in the North East area. For this role you will be responsible for clearing and final clearing for voids properties. This includes clearing, cutting grass, pruning and landscape works to void gardens and assisting the wider void team to enable properties are handed back to the lettable standard in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate that they are able to adapt to the demands, challenges and changes of the role whilst showing confidence to work within a customer-based environment. Appropriate and additional training will be given to the successful candidate to ensure they are competent to carry out their role.

The role of Estate Technician will include:

Undertaking grounds maintenance duties
Assisting with general cleaning and clearing of communal areas within Voids properties
Completing daily work records and maintaining stock levels
Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations
Ensuring tools and equipment are kept in a useable condition
Working with customers to resolve issues and improve services
Providing accurate information and updates on the progress of allocated work

Skills and experiences:

Working knowledge and experience of caretaking and general cleaning
Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills
A working knowledge of health and safety regulations
This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid manual UK driving licence
