About the Role
We’re looking for a Logistics and Warehouse Technician to join our team in Cramlington. To support the movement of materials and products throughout the supply chain within a GMP-regulated environment. The role will focus on domestic and international logistics operations and co-ordination of shipments, including dangerous goods, preparation of import and export documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate UK and international shipments, including Dangerous Goods.
- Prepare import, export and customs documentation, liaising with freight forwarders and logistics partners.
- Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods, COSHH, GMP, GDP and licensing requirements.
- Process warehouse administration, SAP transactions and inventory records accurately.
- Receive, inspect, store and dispatch materials in line with approved procedures.
- Offload deliveries, including raw materials and bulk tanker deliveries.
- Safely operate forklift trucks and support material movements across site.
- Sample raw materials in accordance with approved procedures.
- Maintain and update SOPs, licences and warehouse documentation.
- Provide efficient warehouse and logistics support to internal teams and customers.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety and waste management.
Candidate Profile
Essential
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment
- A FLT (Forklift Licence)
- Familiar with Dangerous Goods Handling
- Experienced with Import & Export Customs Procedures
