Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Beautician/Sunbed Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients with beauty treatments and sunbed sessions. The successful candidate will have a passion for beauty, excellent communication skills, and a welcoming demeanour. The position offers an engaging environment where you can develop your skills in the beauty industry while ensuring clients enjoy a relaxing experience.

Responsibilities

Greet clients warmly and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their visit
Assist clients with sunbed sessions, including setting up equipment and guiding on usage safety
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of the treatment areas and sunbed equipment
Provide information about available treatments and products to maximise client satisfaction
Handle bookings, appointments, and payments efficiently and professionally
Ensure all health and safety protocols are adhered to at all times
Keep up-to-date with current beauty trends and techniques to offer informed advice

Skills

Experience and qualifications For eyebrow wax and tint and gel nails is a minimum requirement. More qualifications and experience are welcomed.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable manner
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to work well as part of a team whilst also demonstrating initiative
Organised with good attention to detail to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation
A professional attitude with a genuine interest in the beauty industry

This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about beauty therapy to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment. Applicants should be enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to deliver outstanding service to every client.

The minimum working hours for this role are:

Thursday 3-7

Friday 3-7

Saturday 9-4
