Videographer/Photographer

Full-time 40 hours a week

£27,040 per annum

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer/Photographer to join our dynamic team. This role involves capturing high-quality images and videos for various projects, including marketing campaigns, social media content, and journalistic assignments.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling through visual media, and proficiency with industry-standard editing software. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a vibrant and supportive environment.

Duties

Organise and execute photoshoots and video recordings across diverse settings.
Edit photographs using programmes such as Adobe Photoshop and Capture One to ensure high visual standards.
Produce engaging video content employing Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro, tailored to target audiences.
Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions.
Maintain and operate professional camera equipment, lighting, and audio gear.
Stay updated with industry trends to incorporate innovative techniques into projects.
Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives.

Requirements

Proven experience in photography and videography, with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Premiere, and other relevant programmes such as Final Cut Pro.
Skilled in photo editing techniques to enhance image quality and visual appeal.
Knowledge of social media management tools and strategies for content optimisation.
Strong understanding of journalism principles related to storytelling through images and videos.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Creative mindset with an eye for detail, colour, composition, and lighting.
Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment. This position is ideal for passionate individuals eager to grow their career in visual media production while contributing innovative content that resonates across various platforms.
