Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Waitress to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic environment, contributing to the overall customer experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service to customers both at the counter and at tables.
Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling light snacks or baked goods.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including coffee machines, counters, and dining spaces.
Provide friendly and attentive service, addressing customer enquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system in accordance with company procedures.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations at all times.
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation of the establishment.

Requirements

Previous experience as a barista or waitress is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable.
Ability to serve customers courteously while maintaining efficiency during busy periods.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour.
Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if required.

Pay: £12.71-£12.72 per hour
