Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a professional HGV Class 2 Oil Tank Driver to join our team on a permanent basis. If you are seeking a job locally, doing local runs, please get in touch

Responsibilities

Operate HGV Class 2 lorries, including flatbed vehicles, in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies
Safely load, secure, and unload goods, ensuring the integrity of cargo during transit
Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery schedules and minimise delays
Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with legal requirements
Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods professionally and courteously
Adhere to all health and safety protocols during daily operations

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 2 licence with a clean driving record
2 years experience of driving
Valid ADR licence
Driver CPC training
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during deliveries
Good organisational skills with attention to detail on daily documents
Flexibility to work various shifts as required by operational needs
