Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality components. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in fabrication and machining, seeking to contribute to precision manufacturing processes. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to develop their technical skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Set up CNC machinery according to specifications and production requirements
Operate CNC machines to produce parts with precision and efficiency
Monitor machine operation, making adjustments as necessary to ensure quality standards are met
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
Maintain accurate documentation of production data and machine logs
Collaborate with team members to optimise manufacturing processes
Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations during all operations

Requirements

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, or machining environments
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic carpentry or joinery skills
Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, masonry, or electrical systems is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Experience with construction painting or general construction tasks is desirable
Strong understanding of CNC machinery operation and maintenance
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Relevant qualifications or certifications in manufacturing or engineering are preferred
