As the business expands, they're looking for a hands-on Management Accountant to play a key role within the finance team. This is far more than a traditional management accounting position. If you enjoy variety, ownership and making a real impact, this could be the perfect next step.
The Role
This is a broad hands on role, roughly half of your time will focus on core management accounting, with exposure and supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial modelling and improving finance processes and systems.
Working closely with senior finance leaders, you'll take ownership of your work from start to finish and become a valued member of a collaborative finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands on reconcilling and getting into the detail
- Produce monthly management accounts
- Prepare journals, month-end adjustments and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support with budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling over time.
- Support with producing insightful commentary
- Work across Xero, Sage and bespoke platforms,
- Help improve finance processes, reporting and systems as the business grows.
- Support new products and evolving subscription-based revenue models.
About You
You'll likely be:
- A Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant ready for your next challenge.
- AAT qualified, part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or qualified.
- Confident producing management accounts from start to finish.
- Analytical, organised and comfortable working independently.
- Someone who enjoys improving processes and working in a growing business.
