Job Overview

We are seeking a part-time (9am - 2.30pm), Monday to Friday inclusive, detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry/Computer Operator to join our small family office team in Pavor Road, Torquay. The successful candidate will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data within our systems. This role requires a high level of accuracy, organisation, and familiarity with computer applications. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a friendly environment, supporting various administrative functions across the organisation. 'Opera' software input can be taught to the successful applicant.

Duties

Inputting data accurately into company 'Opera' databases and software systems
Updating existing records with new information in a timely manner
Verifying data entries for accuracy and completeness
Managing electronic files and maintaining organised records
Assisting with data retrieval and report generation as required
Ensuring data security and confidentiality at all times
Supporting administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and correspondence management
Answering calls from customers and suppliers
Collaborating with team members to improve data processing workflows

Requirements

Proven experience in data entry or computer operation roles is preferred
Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively
Good typing speed with high accuracy
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Pay: £13.00 per hour
