Music Support Assistant Employer: St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi Academy Trust Location: English Martyrs' Catholic School - LE4 Hours: 22.5 hours per week / 39 weeks per year (this would include support whole school events across the year) Position: Permanent Salary: £13,631.05-£14,294.54 pa Actual Salary (FTE £25,989-£27,254 pa) Grade: Band 3 (Point 6-9)

Are you passionate about helping students achieve their potential? Our vibrant secondary school is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Music Support Assistant to make a real difference. What You’ll Do:
- Supporting the setup of rehearsal spaces, equipment, music stands and technical resources
- Provide support for music concerts and school productions
- Help maintain and manage our musical instruments, equipment and technology, arranging repairs where required
- Coordinate with our Head of Music and Peripatetic Teachers for timetabling one to one lessons and small group sessions
- Help shape the musical life of the school by supporting whole school events
- Prepare and organise sheet music for rehearsals and performances
- Manage and develop our extensive music library and catalogue of scores
- General administration work as directed by the Head of Music and teachers
- Support the department with timetabling of lessons and registration of students to those lessons
- Fostering confidence and independence in learners
- Collaborating with teachers to create an inclusive environment for all students who wish to enhance or build on their music skills
