About the Role
As a Community Care Assistant, you'll visit people in their own homes to provide practical assistance and emotional support, helping them continue living independently.
Your day could involve:
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Supporting people with medication
- Preparing meals and refreshments
- Helping with shopping and household tasks
- Offering companionship and reducing social isolation
- Assisting with mobility and safe moving and handling
- Supporting individuals with more complex care requirements
- Providing compassionate end-of-life support where appropriate
- Keeping clear and accurate care records
Every visit is different, but your aim is always the same – helping people live safely, comfortably and independently in their own homes.
