PowerMac Joinery is a trusted contractor delivering high-quality void property works, reactive maintenance, and refurbishment projects for housing providers, local authorities, and commercial clients across Dumfries & Galloway.
We’re seeking Multi-Skilled Operatives with a solid background in a single core trade – such as joinery, plumbing, plastering, or painting & decorating – and the adaptability to carry out additional maintenance works. If you take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy variety in your day-to-day tasks, this role could be perfect for you.
What You’ll Do
Deliver your primary trade to a high professional standard.
Undertake additional maintenance and repair tasks across other trades (training provided where needed).
Work in both void and occupied properties, maintaining professionalism and minimising disruption.
Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards.
Complete projects within agreed timescales.
Provide excellent service to clients and tenants.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in one core trade (e.g., joinery, plumbing, plastering, painting & decorating).
Willingness and ability to carry out basic tasks in other trades.
Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Previous experience in void or reactive maintenance is an advantage.
