Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in various computer programmes. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their administrative career within a professional setting.

Responsibilities

Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing them appropriately
Organising and maintaining office files, records, and documentation
Performing data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Hubspot
Assisting with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
Handling correspondence via email and other communication channels
Supporting the team with administrative tasks such as order processing, filing, purchasing, follow up call and ordering supplies
Ensuring the office environment remains tidy and well-organised
Supporting bookkeeping activities including basic financial record keeping using Xero

Requirements

Proven office experience or administrative experience in a professional setting
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
Experience with Xero or similar accounting software is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good typing speed and data entry skills for efficient document processing
Strong communication skills with good phone etiquette
Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks undertaken
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
