Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our pharmacy team. The successful candidate will support pharmacists in daily operations, provide excellent customer service, and ensure the smooth running of the pharmacy. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in healthcare and pharmacy services. The position is paid and suitable for both entry-level applicants and those with relevant experience.

Duties

Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Greet customers warmly and provide professional customer service
Manage stock levels, including receiving deliveries and organising storage
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and inventory
Answer customer queries regarding over-the-counter medications and health products
Ensure the pharmacy environment complies with health and safety regulations
Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing transactions
Keep the pharmacy clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times

Qualifications

Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in retail or customer service roles is desirable but not mandatory
Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain confidentiality
