Corporate Health and Safety Support Officer

Starting salary between £27423 and £29931 per annum (plus cost of living)

Fixed Term Contract - 2 Years

Based at King’s Court Council Offices, King’s Lynn

Are you an organised and proactive administrator looking to play a key role in improving workplace health and safety across the Council? We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Support Officer to join our team on a two-year fixed-term contract, supporting the delivery of a corporate health project.

Working closely with our Health and Safety Advisers and managers across the Authority, you will provide vital administrative and technical support, helping to maintain health and safety records, monitor actions, analyse data, prepare reports, coordinate meetings and training, manage documentation, and support the implementation of new processes and systems. You will also act as a key point of contact for health and safety enquiries, ensuring information is recorded accurately and consistently.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational, communication and IT skills, experience of working in a busy office environment, and a keen eye for detail. You will be confident managing your own workload, interpreting information, maintaining accurate records and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. If you enjoy working collaboratively and want to make a real contribution to the safety and wellbeing of our workforce, we would welcome your application.
