Location: Based in Downham Market – Field-based covering Norfolk, Suffolk, Lincolnshire & UK-wide

About Us:
XL Scales Ltd is a specialist in the supply, service, and calibration of industrial weighing equipment across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a hard-working, hands-on Weighing Service Engineer to join our dedicated team.

The Role:
As a Service Engineer, you’ll be working in a field-based role carrying out the installation, servicing, repair, and calibration of weighing equipment. You’ll cover a wide variety of customers sites across the UK but mainly Norfolk, Suffolk and Lincolnshire.

Key Responsibilities:

Service, repair, and calibrate Industrial weighing equipment and related systems
Complete required paperwork and service reports accurately
Travel to customer sites across the UK
Manual handling of equipment is a significant part of the role
Work overtime as required to meet customer demands

What We’re Looking For:

A practical, hands-on individual who isn’t afraid of physical work
Willingness to travel and stay away overnight when needed
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
Good communication and basic IT skills for reporting and paperwork
Full UK driving licence (required)
