The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Production Crew Lead – Tube and Tub Filling to join our manufacturing team in Hull. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Production Operators while ensuring the efficient operation of tube and tub filling equipment. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining high production standards, product quality, and adherence to health & safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Lead and support a team of Production Operators in daily manufacturing activities
Ø Oversee the operation and monitoring of tube and tub filling equipment
Ø Ensure production targets, quality standards, and efficiency goals are met
Ø Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Ø Maintain accurate production records and reports
Ø Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and other departments to optimise workflow
Ø Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Ø Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations and company policies
Ø Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality
Ø Bring a positive, proactive, and solution-driven mindset every day!
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Skills:
Ø Previous experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment
Ø Strong knowledge of production machinery, particularly tube and tub filling equipment
Ø Excellent understanding of quality control principles and GMP regulations
Ø Effective communication and leadership skills to motivate and guide a team
Ø A detail-oriented, organised, and proactive approach to problem-solving
Ø Ability to work collaboratively across departments to drive efficiency
Desirable Skills:
Ø Experience in pharmaceutical, cosmetics, or food manufacturing industries
Ø Understanding of regulatory requirements specific to tube and tub filling processes
