Portfolio Management:
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Lettings and Property Management Co-Ordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the management of a portfolio of properties, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standard, and providing excellent customer service to landlords and tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a portfolio of rental properties across the North East, ensuring effective management and tenant satisfaction.
- Handle day-to-day lettings operations, including Inventories, tenant move-ins, checkouts, rent increases and issuing of notices.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all properties comply with current lettings legislation and landlord obligations, including gas safety, electrical inspections, and energy performance certifications.
- Maintain accurate records of all tenancies, communications, and property activities.
- Tenant and Landlord Liaison:
- Act as a main point of contact for landlords and tenants, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
- Provide regular updates on property performance, maintenance needs and compliance.
Maintenance Coordination:
- Arrange and oversee property repairs and maintenance, liaising with trusted contractors and suppliers.
- Arrange and on occasion conduct regular property inspections, identify potential issues, and take proactive steps to maintain property standards.
Financial Management:
- Monitor rental payments, chase arrears, and provide landlords with accurate financial updates.
- Prepare end-of-tenancy accounts and manage deposit disputes where necessary.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Share market insights and assist in achieving team targets and objectives.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Previous experience in property management or lettings, ideally within a fast-paced agency environment.
Skills:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with property management software and general IT tools.
Knowledge:
- A thorough understanding of lettings legislation and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications or willingness to work towards Certificate in Lettings Advice & Practice L3 (CeLAP)
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm which equates to a 35 hour week.

Job type: A full-time position is available however we are open to part time working requests.
Pay: £25,000 to £27,000 per annum depending on experience.
