Job summary
We are looking for the Trust Fellow in Emergency Medicine in Taunton. This job is to provide medical input to the Emergency Department for efficient assessment and initial management of patients. The post holder will participate in ward rounds, clerking, and provide acute care under consultant supervision. This is a non-training post but includes access to departmental teaching, study leave, and CPD opportunities.

Main duties, tasks & skills required
Clerking and initial management of ED patients (adult & paediatric).
Participate in teaching opportunities and ED governance
Engage in audits and quality improvement projects.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure safe prescribing.
Escalate care appropriately and manage acutely unwell patients.
Work a fully self-rostered rota (13-week cycle including normal days, twilight shifts, and nights - please note this rota is already rostered).
