- Cutting grass using ride-on mowers, pedestrian mowers and strimmers
- Hedge / Shrub pruning & cutting
- Weed control & chemical application
- Litter picking
- Undertake leaf collection, edging and other seasonal activities as required by your supervisor
- Be responsible for the general tidiness of the site.
To succeed in this role you will need the following:
- A good awareness of Health and Safety regulations
- Pesticide Training (PA6 & PA6a) - Optional / mandatory training and qualification provided
- NVQ Level 2 in horticulture - preferred but not essential
- CRB / DBS Checked/Accredited - preferred but not essential
- Experience of grounds maintenance with knowledge of horticulture
- Self motivation with the ability to use own initiative
- A full UK driving licence
You will receive:-
· 40-44 hrs per week 07:30 start five days a week

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Hours are 7.30am to 4.30pm in the Spring / Summer months. Hours are shorter in the Winter months - pay does not change, it remains the same throughout the year.
Must be physically fit and have a flexible approach towards various tasks, previous experience of working in mature gardens is essential.
Successful application will be working directly with the Senior Gardener/Team Leader, on their own on occasion or with another grounds maintenance operative, as required.
