Based in Lincoln, Tradeglaze is a growing, award-winning manufacturer and installer of bespoke windows and doors. We work with trade, commercial, and domestic customers across the Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, and South Yorkshire regions to supply innovative high-end glazing solutions.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced window, door, and conservatory surveyor to join an established team of surveyors within a successful company who have a strong and expanding placement within the refurbishment and new build construction industry.
In essence, the role is to take a contract from the point of sale to the point where it is ready for order processing prior to installation.
A good sound knowledge of the window industry and previous experience in surveying is essential.
About the Role:
- Carry out site surveys and confirm window and door specification details with clients.
- Confirm any additional requirements to the original contact.
- Implement safe working practice by assess site conditions and highlighting any conditions which may impact installation.
- Produce survey documentation ensuring the quality and accuracy of all contract documentation.
- Take photos of the site to be used at alter stages of the project.
- Liaise with customers regarding any technical queries they may have.
- Pro-actively support the sales and installation functions of the business.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Significant surveyor experience within double glazing/windows/doors
- Must be able to work on own initiative with a pro-active approach.
- Attention to detail and process driven excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
Experience:
- UPVC & Aluminium Window & Door Industry: 3 years (Preferred)
Pay: £34,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
