Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Ribble Valley Care Home. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
Support the development and implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care and activities.
Participate in organizing and facilitating recreational activities for residents.
Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents.

Requirements

Previous experience in a healthcare or care home setting is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents and staff.
Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
