Job Description:
A leading supplier of new and refurbished recycling & waste management equipment. Offering comprehensive servicing, maintenance, and repair services for all types of recycling machinery.
We are seeking skilled and experienced engineers that can work using their own initiative and have a proactive approach to all tasks. A conscious and reliable team player, with a strong positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
Key Tasks and responsibilities:
- Working within the workshop team in South Molton to refurbish a variety of recycling machinery. Tasks are varied and include stripping down machinery, checking key components to determine viability, rebuilding, machine prep and spraying, providing a high-quality finish and final machine PDI’s.
- Carry out installation, servicing, maintenance and repairs on recycling machinery located at local customer sites.
- Complete and submit work sheets in a timely manner via our CRM system.
- Complete housekeeping on a regular basis for office use.
- Comply with health & safety legislation, quality procedures, company policies and all other areas of compliance in a modern workshop
The following qualifications and skills are required however full training will be provided where necessary:
- Qualified or experienced engineer, having a leading knowledge in either mechanical or hydraulic engineering.
- Strong communication skills are vital with the ability to liaise with members of staff, customers and suppliers in a professional manner.
- A Full UK manual driving license is essential.
- FLT license desirable but not essential.
Job Specifics/Benefits:
- Salary range between £35,000 and £40,000 depending on experience.
- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Overtime available depending on current business needs.
