As our organisation continues to grow, we are looking to recruit enthusiastic and inspiring Dance and/or Gymnastics Teachers/Instructors to join our expanding team.
Whether you're an experienced instructor or looking to develop your career in primary education, we will provide the training, support and development opportunities to help you succeed.
About the Role
Working across a number of primary schools within Northamptonshire and surrounding areas, you will deliver exciting, engaging and inclusive dance and/or gymnastics lessons to children from Reception through to Year 6.
You'll be responsible for creating enjoyable learning experiences that help children develop confidence, coordination, creativity and physical literacy, while ensuring every session is safe, educational and fun.
Successful candidates will receive a comprehensive induction and bespoke training programme, giving you the confidence to deliver lessons that meet both curriculum objectives and The Freestyle Group's high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality dance and/or gymnastics lessons within primary schools.
- Plan engaging lessons suitable for children of all abilities.
- Deliver before-school, lunchtime and after-school clubs where required.
- Inspire children to develop confidence, creativity, coordination and a love of physical activity.
- Create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Build strong relationships with schools, teachers, parents and pupils.
- Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding and professionalism.
- Represent The Freestyle Group with enthusiasm, positivity and pride.

Essential Requirements
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Access to your own vehicle.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Dance teaching qualifications or gymnastics coaching qualifications.
- Relevant coaching, teaching or childcare qualifications.
- Experience delivering curriculum-based lessons within primary schools.
- Experience working within a school, childcare or educational environment.
- Safeguarding and Child Protection Training.
- Paediatric First Aid qualification.
(Support and ongoing training will be provided to help successful candidates continue their professional development.)
