The Role
We are looking for an experienced Waste Transfer Station Manager to lead a team of approximately 10 employees, including Waste Transfer Station operatives and HGV/van drivers.
This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership position requiring a strong presence on-site. As the operational lead for the site, you will also act as a key point of contact for the Environment Agency, supporting inspections, responding to routine enquiries, facilitating site visits, and ensuring that permit requirements, recommendations, and compliance actions are effectively communicated and implemented across the operation.
You will also oversee transport coordination, ensuring efficient routing, effective driver support, and smooth daily operations.
